Ashton Blaak

Bio

Saxophonist, Ashton Blaak hails from Akron, OH. Ashton draws his roots from playing drums in church at an early age. He was given his first saxophone from his Uncle Al after seeing his Uncle Al play tenor saxophone in church and expressing interest. After being given his first alto saxophone he went on to learn Jazz, Blues, and Funk as he attended Firestone High School under Lee Gibson and Thomas Weaver. While pursuing a degree in Music Technology at Kent State Stark Campus he picked up many skills in video production and graphic design while studying saxophone. His love of music is the driving force behind all his creativity as a working creative in his hometown of Akron, OH.
